Beaver Creek Arms
Services We Provide
We offer consulting services to Family Members, Executors, and Attorneys, directed to optimize disposition of Arms and Military Antiques, either individual pieces or collections. The most important step is to separate the “wheat” from the “chaff”. Many items acquire significant value from relatively subtle variations. Sorting firearms, or Military Antiques, having collector or historical value from more common items is an example.
Appraising:
We offer Photo documented and descriptive appraisals of Firearms and Military Antiques. Consultation will indicate which items are worthy of a formal appraisal and items that may not justify the additional cost. Generally, the “wheat” may justify appraisals, and the “Chaff” may be assigned value based upon experience. Verbal opinion can be provided. We employ a network of renowned experts for additional specialized assistance as needed.
Disposition:
We offer disposition management services for items or collections. Direct marketing to known collectors, and consignment for on-line sale are two methods we employ. Local, regional, or national auctions will be considered. Recommendations will be made based upon the items and current market conditions. Usually the “chaff” should be sold locally for the lowest expense and highest return. The “wheat” should be marketed to a focused group and the higher return will justify higher expense.
Buying:
We are interested in buying items or collections that meet our specific criteria. Immediate payment has appeal in some circumstances.

“Mr. Clark handled my consignment as if it were his own.”
“The item which I was attempting to sell was of great historical value, but also of great personal value as it was passed down through my family for many years. He took the same appreciation for the item as I did, and for that he earned my respect.”

“I purchased and sold many firearms through Steve.”
“I have entrusted Steve with the disposition, through consignment, of my collection of highly collectible Colt, Smith & Wesson, Winchester, and U.S. military firearms. I have depended upon his expertise to inspect, evaluate, condition, and set fair and reasonable prices for which the firearms could be sold.”
