This is a beautiful 1st. generation (1906) SAA revolver chambered in .38 Spl. with a 4 ¾” barrel. It has been enhanced by Colts Master Engraver Ron P. Nott, a friend, who passed in 2010. It is beautifully engraved in Ron’s masterful scroll style. A tasteful appointment of Gold inlay is set into the blue barrel, grip, and hammer with the frame contrasted nicely with case colors. The grips are one piece Ivory complementing this fine firearm. The bore is Exc. the revolver has a silk smooth action as would be expected in a firearm from the bench of Ron P. Nott. This is clearly an investment grade firearm from the finest of craftsmen and a chance of a lifetime buy. Serial Number: 286275, FFL Req’d.

This is a beautiful 1st. generation (1906) SAA revolver chambered in .38 Hamada Type 2 pistols were Manufactured at the Notobe factory and were to be delivered “in the white” to the Toriimatsu factory for bluing, final inspection and distribution.  Production started in Feb 1944 with deliveries that year.  Only examples of the first 50 pistols of this model have survived, they all remain “in the white”, they were apparently never delivered or processed by the Torimatsu factory.
Only 17 of these pistols were known survivors, until recently.  This pistol, serial  Number 28 is the 18th known survivor.
This pistol is so rare it makes a Colt Walker Revolver look common. Number 28 remains unfinished, “in the white”, with no corrosion, pitting, or other environmental damage.  It has matching numbers including Grips and Magazine. The bore is excellent and function is flawless.  It is accompanied by the original Type 94 holster it was “Souvinered” with.
This is a very rare Japanese WWII military pistol and clearly an investment grade Firearm.  Serial Number 28,  FFL Req’d.
